About the Bride:
Jessica brings authenticity and determination to everything she does. She cares deeply for her friends and family and strives to leave the world a little better than it was the day before.
The Journey So Far:
Growing up in Denison, Texas, Jessica was always known as a quick study in school, particularly in math. This led her to pursue her education at Abilene Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Management. She has fond memories of her time there and greatly admired her professor, Dr. Pope, who encouraged her to become a fund manager for Student Trading and Research (STAR). As a fund manager, Jessica developed skills in equity research and advised a team on trading strategies for the business school’s endowment fund.
Career & Passions:
Today, Jessica leverages her skills as a Manager for Tolleson Wealth Management. She is passionate about her work as a family office advisor, solving complex financial and estate planning needs for client families, while also celebrating alongside clients as they reach new milestones and provide for future generations.
Life Outside of Work:
When she’s not busy at work, Jessica volunteers through the Junior League of Dallas, regularly participating in placements with organizations like Equest, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, Ronald McDonald House. She has a deep appreciation for equestrian therapy services offered to children with special needs, and especially cherishes her time spent volunteering at Equest.
Looking Forward:
More than anything, Jessica is excited to begin this new chapter with Matt. If you asked her today, she is especially looking forward to quiet mornings and still moments during their honeymoon in St. Lucia. Life moves incredibly fast, and she considers it such a blessing to slow down and cherish the small moments.
About the Groom: Matthew Taylor
Matthew brings the fun, excitement, and laughs to every room. Known for his infectious energy and huge heart, he loves his friends and family hard and deep.
The Man, The Myth, The Legend
Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Cedar Hill, Matthew developed a heart for service early on through church youth group, Boy Scouts, PALS (peer assisted leadership program), and National Honors Society. After graduating from DeSoto High School in 2008, he continued his educational journey at Abilene Christian University, earning his Bachelor’s in 2012 and his Specialist in School Psychology degree in 2015. Ten years later, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in December 2025. While he officially crosses the stage in May 2026, the hard work is done, and he is ready to dedicate 100% of his attention to marrying his best friend.

- Hobbies & Passions: Serving students with special needs, spending time with friends and family, and riding his bike around White Rock Lake.
- Favorite Indulgence: Tacos, Margaritas, Whataburger, Oysters, Martinis and Dallas Pro Sports; maybe not in that order.
Matthew’s world changed the moment he met Jessica. He’ll tell you he was immediately captivated by her beautiful smile and calming energy. He knew Jessica was “the one” when he leaned in to tell her goodbye one evening and the words “I love you… I mean this” came out of his mouth. The proposal was a nerve-wracking but beautiful moment at their favorite place to get oysters in Dallas, Texas (S&D Oyster Co.)
Why He Loves Her
More than her beauty and grace, Matthew adores Jessica’s kind heart, unwavering support, and adventurous spirit. He feels incredibly lucky to be marrying his best friend and is most looking forward to traveling the world with her and building a life full of laughter, family, and dog walks.
